I don't know what's going on up there, whether it's poor training, poor sorting, or just lazy employees. Either way, I'm getting fed up and am looking for a way to file a complaint higher than the local level. If anyone knows, please post. I'm sick and tired.

Complete absolute idiots. I understand why they're going out of business. Incompetent, inefficient and absolutely detestable. What a bunch of narcissistic jackwagons.

They don’t drop packages out for delivery, Last week they delivered after 9pm, I pull bills out that were in the box so they didn’t sit out all night. So, no pick up. “ Atempted” delivery yesterday and left a notification in the box but I was outside, no package.

P.S. If anyone gets any mail with the house number 18025 and my name, please let me know. I guess we're all in this together!

I'm lukewarm about the post office in Snohomish. It's moderately better than the one I've occasionally visited in Monroe, but with the inconvenience of the parcel drop-off boxes usually being out of commission, and having to wait in line, I tend to go to one of those mom and pop Pony Express type mailing centers in stead for all my mailing needs, whenever possible.

I will start this review by saying that our regular mail delivery person (Henry) is fantastic. He is consistent, quick, and to the best of my knowledge has never messed up our mail delivery.

We adore our regular carrier (the same Henry everyone in town loves), who is prompt, courteous, and professional, and often waits an extra moment to see if I'm home to grab a parcel that looks important, if my truck is in the driveway (I work at home, and can sign for parcels 99% of the time, and know when I'm expecting deliveries), but whomever fills in for him needs to be retrained, or moved to a different route, if not outright sacked, so they can stop messing up our mail. The few times I have seen him, he looks like a deer in headlights even if I just say "hi" or "thanks".

Over the course of the past year or two, the "Not-Henry" has for example "panicked" (supervisor's words) and SIGNED for a parcel as my husband, so it showed up as "delivered" on tracking, while the parcel and its $1200 in content were missing. Note that I said I'm usually at home, and the doorbell never rang, nor was there a knock on that day. I saw the tail lights of the van pulling our of the driveway, though, which happens quite frequently. Smaller packages get stuffed into our mailbox, which has damaged some of the books I've ordered online. They were for my own use, so I didn't go through the trouble of complaining. We often get the neighbor's mail in our mailbox, but sometimes the same house number with a completely wrong street. At first, I just walked the 50 feet to the neighbor's box, but have taken to leaving a post-it note on the mail saying "WRONG ADDRESS", which has reduced this for a few months at a time, as the carrier wouldn't otherwise be alerted to their mistake. I've had outgoing mail linger in the mailbox for days with the flag up, when there hasn't been any incoming mail. When I'm paying bills on time, it would be nice if the letters actually moved on from the mailbox before the due date on said bills... Last time yesterday (10/1717), I was at home and heard the USPS van do a 3-point turn in the driveway. It was leaving the driveway as I ran to the door to try to get my parcel, but it was too late. I found a "delivery not successful" note in my mailbox later in the day, that I can barely read, and will now have to run to the post office with two sick toddlers in tow to get the parcel I would have been home to sign for, or sign up for a re-delivery attempt. Weighing the options, I think exposing the post office to sick toddlers is the less stressful for me than spending my day stalking the driveway for a carrier who is afraid of their postal customers.

I have filed multiple complaints online through the USPS website which usually gets a quick response from someone at the Snohomish Post Office.

The rest of my complaint is due to the inconsistency of mail delivery in our neighborhood. Sometimes they deliver at 10am, sometimes at 7 or 8pm. It is NEVER near the same time each day. There are days where I don't see a mail truck all day (I work from home and sit near an open window near the mailbox). Other days I see a mail truck go up and down our road 10 times (no joke).

My 1-Star (would do Zero if I could) review goes to whoever is our replacement delivery driver. They regularly get our mail delivery mixed up to the same house number on another street. This has been going on for over a year, any time there is a sub driver. He is either visually impaired, or just a jerk who doesn't care to do his job on time.

Typical post office. Generally not too busy, but staff are fast and efficient when high traffic occurs. Laid out for ease of locating needed items. Supplies for shipping and mailing available for sale.
